Waiting for Christmas..........

... meanwhile torturing my cat! :-D
This is Misty and she actually didn't complain at all while I dressed her and took a bazillion pictures! She is also wearing a collar with jingles but it ended up covered by her long hairs.

Introducing Peter Pup

I recently devoted some time to drawing....... ehm..... not my usual kind of drawing though! I created a cartoon character of a cute puppy named Peter Pup that is being sold by another stamp company called Stamp Affair.
Click this link to see the first plate that is out for sale as well as mounted singles if you prefer.

If you order and mention that Marina sends you, they will send you a free um grab bag too!

Peter Pup is also in T-shirts, mugs, caps, keychains and a bazillion other items through zazzle

Gothic arch

OK, I admit it's not all new work. I made that Gothic arch a year ago or more... you can also see it in the old posts...... but I repainted it and I added the background ....A little recycling...... :-)
The background is done with tissue paper.

Halloween art

I love Halloween and all the spooky decorations........ it's the only holiday I truly enjoy.
I drive around every year just to see the graveyards popping up in people's lawns as long as monsters, witches and carved pumpkins. I wish I were a child in America!

I want to start stamping something spooky soon. Meanwhile I attach here one of last year's cards.
I'm going to feature all the spooky art from all members of the Cherry Pie ning group soon so please join the group if you haven't already and share your Halloween artwork with us. At least one Cherry Pie stamp is preferred...... Check the beautiful Goth, magic, spooky stamps from Cherry Pie!

Waiting for the Art doll swap pages......

While waiting for the players to send in their pages, I have played on an extra one myself. This is not my main entry in the book (that I'm keeping secret until I send all the books back).
I have used only the art doll plate to do this. First I cut out all the doll parts that I stamped on an old dictionary, then I made my naked doll by sticking the pieces together.
After this I stamped the body on the reverse side of pink paper and I cut it out adding a skirt.
Last I stamped the shoes on the reverse side too so I could have pink shoes instead of black.
A little glue, some hair doodling and a fancy hat finished the doll that was attached to a piece of scrapbook paper and stamped with the tiny Cherry Pie butterflies. Pretty easy fun project.

New doll with vintage teddy bear

I finally added hands and feet to Melanie, my last dolly. I made her for my miniature vintage teddy bear than my grandpa gave me when I was 3 or 4 years old. He has been around me all my life (while my grandpa passed on when I was 5) and I wanted to give him a special place so I thought that best was to make tiny arms that could hug him.
More of my dolls photos can be seen here

Beautiful dragonflies

I live on a small lake and there are lots of dragonflies around here. Today I spotted one on a flower and I ran to get my camera...... This is the best shot I got. Click on the photo to enlarge it.This image is a Cherry Pie stamp colored in with watercolor paints

Gothic arches

Another swap with my Yahoo group. We used all the same shape of a Gothic arch with a tab so I could punch it for binding into a booklet.
15 players, each one of us received the same booklet back.

Dark stamping

I've been playing with my new images again. This dead tree is kinda creepy...... I think we all have a dark side hidden behind our sunny facade and I enjoy goth/dark art a lot.....

New rubberstamps!

Oh how exciting to have new rubber stamps to play with! The pleasure really pays me back of the weeks I spent drawing and putting these 5 artboards together. I changed them so many times, trying to make all images fit and filling spaces in between with new drawings....... now that I can touch the rubber sheets, I know it was all worth it and I can't wait to ink them up! :-)
Please go to this page on my website to see all new images in full size. They're all sold as sheets or single images. There is a plate inspired by watching Twilight, a dark scenic one, a second one dedicated to Gustav Klimt, one to Marie Antoinette and one "inspirational". I hope you like them as much as I do!

Alice in Wonderland stamped book

Another cool swap is over and it's been a lot of fun. Organized within my Yahoo group as all the past swaps too. We made 4"x4" pages stamped with at least one Alice stamp from my own line and only Cherry Pie stamps.
We were 12 players and I bound each booklet with a Bind-it-All.
