I'm a full time rubber stamp designer and manufacturer since 1991 and a passionate artist/crafter since I was born. I like to combine stamping, painting, collage and sculpting. I love making one-of-a-kind dolls, gardening, cooking, watching movies, reading, travelling.... and too much more for one lifetime!
To learn more about my line of rubber stamps you can visit my website at: http://www.cherrypieartstamps.com
Today I worked at a brochure. It was a lot of fun (and many hours on Photoshop....).
Here's the result. It's a tri-fold format brochure and I sent the pages to Vistaprint for the professional printing.
It's Dianne www.diadsie.wordpress.com! (number 83 picked by random.com)
Congratulations Dianne and thank you all for passing by, leaving wonderful comments and making these two weeks really busy for me! It was great fun! :-)
Welcome to Cherry Pie's second year participating in this fun event!
My name is Marina and I'm the owner of Cherry Pie Art Stamps, a company based in FL, USA.
Cherry Pie is turning 20 this year........ so this is a very special year for me!
This year, as a giveaway, I'm offering an ATC booklet (fat book) made with 11 original ATC's by many artists. All stamped except one that's a small painting I made myself.
PLUS a Bonus rubber stamp if the winner is a stamper too.
Please leave a message for me so I can enter you in the giveaway. Make sure to leave your email address so I can contact you if you win!
I will use a random number generator to pick the winner.
Summer flew.... and it's still too hot here in FL. Looking forward to October in hope of some real breathing!
I'm sorry I neglected this blog and I don't have any new stamps to announce but I will work on it and hopefully something will happen before too late!
Meanwhile I show you a few cards from the last swap with my Yahoo group. If you want to see all of them, you can join the group. We have so much artwork in the photo folders!
I still can't believe I have been doing something for so long......... I was a baby when I started ;-) Pressing rubber from my pram LOL
Well...... to celebrate this event, I will offer 10% off your orders beginning now until end month (June 30th, 2010). Postage and taxes are excluded. 10% off your subtotal. ONLY orders coming from my website or by email. No eBay or etsy.
If you want to combine with stuff I have on eBay (such as accessories or magazines), you are welcome to.
How to do it?
* You first order from my website and pay all postage as requested in your check out page.
* Claim your 10% off through the Paypal message window or email me.
* Buy what you want on eBay and ask me to combine postage with your previous website order.
I will do the Math for you.
Remember, you have to claim the 10% off and I will REFUND it from what you paid through Paypal.
A "refund" is commission-free so you get the full 10% back.
No minimum required. Any order that claims the discount, will get it.
You can tell your friends!
Happy Birthday to Cherry Pie is the keyword ;-)

After the quick post earlier today, I finally manage to sit here at the wee hours and show you the two new plates I released on April 19th. One plate is called "Writers" and it includes portraits of Edgar Allan Poe and Shakespeare plus a bunch of other images related to vintage writing and some bonus wording stamps.
The second plate is about Carnival or Mardi Gras. Venetian masks and beads galore!
As promised in the previous post, I'm showing you the photos of the swap I organized in the Cherry Pie Yahoo group called "WORDS". Each player had to choose a word and illustrate it using only Cherry Pie rubber stamps of course!
ATC size (2.5"x3.5") bound in a booklet.
It's the prize drawing day! I had 114 messages and I'm really happy and grateful. It's been fun to meet you all!
And the winner is........ #5! (Lucky me that I didn't have to count too much!) Thecraftypagan, or Rowena from the U.K., won this ATC booklet that will be mailed as soon as I get a mailing address.
Congrats Rowena! Hope you will like our collaborative effort.... and maybe you will join us in the Yahoo group to play with us!
In the next days I will show the photos of the pages inside the booklet. First I wait for Rowena to receive it so I won't spoil her surprise :-)
Here's what you get from me: an ATC booklet with 12 ATC's made by my Yahoo group! It's our last collaborative project (or swap). I was left with one extra booklet since one player dropped off and now here's your chance to win it! The theme was "WORDS" so each page has a word written somewhere and some wonderful stamping to illustrate it. Here I show only the photo of the cover but if you join the Yahoo group you can see every page in the photo folder.......
Good luck and happy Spring to everyone!
PS. I want to make clear that everybody can post, no matter where you live! I ship worldwide at my cost. The only problem is that you must give me a way to reach you because some of these comments are coming without a way to write you back or to find you through your blog! If I pick one of these winners (like PaulineC to name one), I will have to pick a second one and you will loose the chance to win! :-(
I don't know where time goes. It's been nearly a month since my last post....... life got in the way, weather was colder than Florida residents can handle and I had a lot of work too. Always welcome of course....... but I'm not keeping my promises of posting here regularly and offering new giveaways........
Soooooo.......... now I will have two giveaways! One for everyone and one for one lucky winner.
March is my birth month......
First giveaway: I'm giving a 10% off to all orders over $25 (before taxes and postage) that I get until end month. ONLY orders from my website and NOT from eBay or etsy!
In order to get the discount you must mention "10% happy birthday" in the message window of your payment.
I will refund your account as soon as I process your order.
On March 24th (my actual b-day) I will post a giveaway. It will be something handmade........ come back to see what it is! :-)
I will pick ONE winner among all the comments I will get in the next post.
You will have only 5 days for leaving a comment so make sure you come back to this blog one day between 24th and 28th March!
Tomorrow I will mail the 3 gifts to their winners...... meanwhile I want to show off one of my wins! :-)
I don't have it in my hands yet but it's travelling from England this week and I can't wait to get it. I want to show you the photo because I think it's so cool and such a neat gift idea!
It's a sterling silver pendant. I choose the personalization including the butterfly and the color of Swarowki bead (I had an AB because I like diamonds! ;-)
Plus Catherine added the star charm because I like stars and she didn't have a stamp of a star for my symbol.
Isn't it cool? Visit Catherine's etsy store to see all she does and sells!
Oh how much fun this was! I visited over 1000 blogs (I never knew there were so many around! LOL) and I got 392 comments!! Ohmy!! For one who had an average of 3-4, it's a huge thing!!! I also met some wonderful new friends and I even won two prizes myself!! Yeay!:-)))
And here are the Cherry Pie winners picked by the random number generator:
1. #131 Rosie (Rosemary Rowe) from UK
2. #29 Lorri (from Australia)
3. #164 Jennifer R.D. from CA
And heartfelt thanks to all who wrote such wonderful words!!!! I will read them over and over again when I need a little boost of confidence......

QUICK INTRODUCTION: I started this blog over a year ago with the main aim of promoting my line of rubber stamps(Cherry Pie Art Stamps)and showing off the stamped artwork that we do within my Yahoo group. Then... it expanded to posting pics of my cats (AKA the Cherry Pie helpers) and my handmade dolls and paintings! I just couldn't hide that these things are a big part of my life too (and there's still a lot more of course....). I hope that, before you go, you want to follow my blog orflickr.....
MY 3 GIVEAWAY(s) My giveaway for 3 lucky ones who leave a comment to this post will be picked by using the random number generator on Feb 15th evening hours (EST). If you're not a stamper, you may turn into one! ;-) All images used in my artwork are rubber stamps by Cherry Pie of course!

Thanks for all the lovely comments! This carpet ride is a real magic journey for me !
Another year has gone........ even a decade has gone! Seems yesterday we were toasting at the new millennium and it's already 10 years old! I'm grateful for the 2k's, so many good things have happened to me. The best is to live in the US and to have many friends and wonderful customers who even follow my mainly silent blog! Without your support I wouldn't be here........ Thank you!
... meanwhile torturing my cat! :-D This is Misty and she actually didn't complain at all while I dressed her and took a bazillion pictures! She is also wearing a collar with jingles but it ended up covered by her long hairs.

OK, I admit it's not all new work. I made that Gothic arch a year ago or more... you can also see it in the old posts...... but I repainted it and I added the background ....A little recycling...... :-) The background is done with tissue paper.
I love Halloween and all the spooky decorations........ it's the only holiday I truly enjoy. I drive around every year just to see the graveyards popping up in people's lawns as long as monsters, witches and carved pumpkins. I wish I were a child in America!
I want to start stamping something spooky soon. Meanwhile I attach here one of last year's cards. I'm going to feature all the spooky art from all members of the Cherry Pie ning group soon so please join the group if you haven't already and share your Halloween artwork with us. At least one Cherry Pie stamp is preferred...... Check the beautiful Goth, magic, spooky stamps from Cherry Pie!
